For 4800 Years India Remained the Wealthiest Nation in the World
For 4800 years, India remained the wealthiest place in the world. It was endowed not only with material and physical wealth but with a spiritual wealth of love, peace, happiness, the highest levels of skills in science, arts, and advanced technologies.
Unfortunately, most of us are unaware of the glorious past as it has been concealed from our minds in a highly systematic manner. Had we known the real history, all the Indians would have been the proudest citizens. It is sad to see the way Indians are fragmented today. The rich and glorious past is the legacy of all Indians, whether they are Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Jains, Parsees, Jews, or any other faith, even atheist.
I spent thirty years in profound research to figure out why and how we have come to this pathetic stage that our glorious past has is eluded from our minds. I studied hundreds of contemporary history books, research papers, met several high-profile historians, archaeologists, religious leaders, visited places of historical importance and monuments in India and many other countries. My travel to over sixty countries also helped me interact with ordinary people of different nationalities, faiths, beliefs, cultures, and social practices to understand their mindsets.
My mammoth research’s essence is that the main objects of shrouding and undermining the glorious past of greater India. To achieve this objective, many historians, scientists, and so-called researchers have created so many bizarre theories from time to time and thrust upon the people with the idea that scientists and researchers cannot be wrong.
I went through many such theories in minute depth and found that their arguments did not base on solid research and pieces of evidence. Most of them are mere imagination and guesswork. They have built stories of some civilizations just based on a few remnants available. Their carbon dating process is based on present atmospheric conditions, and there is no surety that climatic conditions would have remained standard in the past thousands of years. Darwinian theory of evolution is guesswork.
As India was a very wealthy place, plunderers always attacked as the richness allured them. Attacks started way back from 805 BC. – Assyrian queen Semiramis tried to invade India with 300000 soldiers. In the banks of Jhelum. 530 B.C. – The founder of the Persian Empire, Cyrus, attacked Massaga and was defeated. 326 B.C. Alexander attacked, 305 B.C. – United Greek army under the command of the Greek king Seleucus attacked India. It was a final and decisive defeat for the Greeks. 180 B.C. – the army of Demetrius attacked India again. 458 A.D. – Hunas invaded the Indian Subcontinent, including the Alchon Hunas, defeated by Emperor Skandagupta of the Gupta Empire. 470 A.D. – Hunas attempted one more time to increase their territory and loot the wealth. 636 A.D. – 643 A.D. – Arabs launched three back to back naval attacks on Indian ports. They got defeated by Chalukya King Pulakeshi II and Sindh king Chachrai. 662 A.D. – 710 A.D. – Arabs launched repetitive land expeditions against border states – Kikan, Kabul, Zabul, and Sindh but were defeated, 712 AD Mohammed Bin Qassim was the first Muslim to invade India. He conquered Sindh and Punjab regions along the Indus river but did not advance further.
1009 AD and 1026 AD, Mahmud of Ghazni invaded Kabul, Delhi, Kanauj, Mathura, Kangra, Thaneshwar, Kashmir, Gwalior, Malwa, Bundelkhand, Tripuri, Bengal, and Punjab. 1221 AD Chengiz Khan, a Mongol, conquered some kingdoms on Indus river banks, 1398 AD Timur Lang was a Muslim conqueror who invaded India.
European invaders entered India as traders and later created their colonies. Portuguese came in 1498, Britishers in 1600, Dutch in 1602, Dennis in 1616, French in 1664, and Swedish in 1731.
1738 AD Nadir Shah was the ruler of Iran who invaded India in 1738. He defeated the Mughal Emperor Muhammed Shah and carried with him the Peacock throne and the Kohinoor diamond
Ahmed Shah Abdali – He was the ruler of Afghanistan. He invaded India several times between 1747 & 1767, the most famous being the invasion of 1761 when he defeated the Marathas in the 3rd battle of Panipat.
Even after so many invasions and loot, India remained an attractive place for wealth and trade. Till 1820 India remained the wealthiest nation and controlled 25% of the world trade. English East India Trading Company established the empire and systematically looted resources, and resorted to all means to destroy this great nation’s history, an excellent education system, culture, and human values. In 1947 what remained was an impoverished population, reduced literacy rate, devoid of their pride and culture, divided into religions, a caste system, and partition pain.
In 1945, after the British decision of liberating India for various reasons, European countries and the USA realized that this great nation, with its boundary from Afghanistan to Burma, would become the world’s most prosperous and most influential nation. The most significant chunk of the hardworking population, productive land power with fertile soil and favorable climate, the abundance of mineral resources, the network of rivers, an extensive coastline with marine resources, sea power, all these factors backed with the inheritance of arts, science, culture, music, religions, scriptures, yoga, Ayurveda, spiritualism, etc. would make India unstoppable. It was a consorted thought of many, which weakened India by way of partitions and fragmentation in many ways.
Some people think that foreign invaders have brought in a lot of good things. I am sorry to mention they are poorly aware of the damages to India’s people and society. I call them half-literate!
India’s glorious past was so grand that it is beyond the imagination and comprehension of most people. If we visualize or imagine a perfect place with the abundant scenario, even then, we would not reach one-tenth of the reality. We all know words like Paradise, Heaven, Wonderland, Shangri-la, Zion, Arcadia, Garden of Eden, Happy Land, Swarg, Jannat, etc. Artists, writers, poets have used these words very often. All religious scriptures speak about paradise. But our mental set-up is such that we think these are fairy-tale and non-worldly words. We cannot comprehend that it was a reality.
In reality, this heaven was on the earth, and it is anybody’s guess where on earth it could have been? This grand civilization existed in the western and north-west part of present India, and the location is almost the same as where Indus Valley Civilizations existed. The beginning of this civilization’s timeline is estimated 5000 tears back and about 800 years before Harappan civilization. This period is often known as the Golden Age or Satya Yug. At this age, everyone enjoys life with all types of abundance. They have peace and eternal happiness with the perfect relationship amongst one another.
People in the present-day world cannot imagine this fact as today’s world is entirely different. No one has an all-around abundance. Relationships between humans and societies have no values left. No one can claim to have eternal peace, happiness, and fulfillment. Can we call ourselves civilized in the real sense? Peace and happiness are the essential elixirs of human life, and we might have physical abundance, material comfort, but is it worthwhile without eternal happiness, love, and genuine relationships.
In the Golden Age, people experience not only peace and happiness. There was no suffering, falsehood, crime, violence, misconduct, and sickness. Such a lot of abundance is there that no one ever thinks of grabbing anything from others. Every one enjoys perfect health and natural beauty. Nature is benevolent and provides everything necessary. Weather does not have any turbulence, and always spring-like weather exists. The land is very fertile, and resultant crops are nutritious and healthy. Rivers are clean with sweet water, and they don’t flood or dry up.
Nature is at its best, and the sky is pleasantly bright, the landscape is lush green with grass and fragrant flowers all around. Fruits and vegetables are healthy with excellent flavor. Friendly, beautiful birds and butterflies are enchanting. The serene atmosphere carries sweet natural music as if an orchestra is performing. All types of animals are harmless, vegetarian, and domesticated. There is a saying that lion and lamb drink water in the same pond.
Initially, there is a population of Nine lacs, which gradually grows. Their average age is 150 years. People do not have uncertain death like now. Ichha Mrutyu is the practice, which means they die on a prefixed day, just like we fix dates of weddings now. They have a small family consisting of a couple, a boy and a girl. There is no schooling system like now. Through self-study, they learn from parents and others in society through verbal communication and mostly through self-observation. They do not have to learn too many subjects like today. Firstly they learn about the body and the life force. They do not take much time to learn that they are a soul or a conscient spirit, and the body is the instrument of the soul. Secondly, they learn about the entertainment aspects, including arts, technology, music, sports, games, gardening, dance, drama, paintings, etc., thirdly and most importantly, about nature related to vegetation, weather, astronomy, and solar system, etc.
They do not require a script as there is no need for writing. Language is straight forward with small vocabulary, and each word has only one meaning. There is no need for words related to sicknesses, medicines, cosmetics, legal, judicial, crime-related, security, police, army, violence, war, defence, commerce, banking, internet-related, printing, automobile, train, aviation, cinema, T.V., photography, audio, video, natural disaster-related, and no abusive or harmful words. If these subjects are not necessary, you can guess what a small vocabulary is required.
There are no temples, as they are the most elevated and completely pure. They have no one to worship. With the power of purity, they have an advanced mental ability through which they can even fly their Pushpak Viman. Unlike today, they do not require mobile phones, and they can communicate with anyone with telepathy and see anywhere with divine eyes. They use solar energy wherever necessary.
Unlike today, there is no need for democracy, as everyone is happy in all respect. A king and a queen head the administrative system. Since everything is in order, there is hardly anything to administer, but they remain as the figurehead and are role models. The royal family used to mingle with all as a family member. They had big palaces and a courtyard for meetings with other kings. Building construction technology was quite advanced. Gold and silver bricks, precious stones are used for construction. Their buildings are single floor only. There is no electricity, diamonds and precious stones emit light. Outdoor is always lit at night as the moon is always shining at its best.
We have excellent proof of this Golden age even now. We adore and worship citizens of that period. We have been building millions of temples for several millennia to worship and pay respect to them. They have been champions for the entire humanity until 2500 years back. After that, many groups broke away from the mother Vedic culture and entered into human-made religions, and they were proscribed to adore or worship them. But Hindus did not adopt any religion, and they still worship heroes of the Golden age as deities, ideals, idols, and embodiment of God.
